Microsoft Bing Search introduces AI-powered chat feature

Microsoft In its search results, Bing appears to be experimenting a new conversation function. Sunny Ujjawal tweeted a screenshot of this, which I am unable to duplicate. On the right side of the search results, Bing displays a chat window that says “Hello there! What topic would you want to discuss today?”

“Start a new conversation below,” it continues. The disclaimer reads as follows: “On Bing.com, this is an experimental AI-powered chat. For additional information, please see the Microsoft Privacy Statement.”

Microsoft allowed developers to integrate bots into its Bing search results. According to earlier reports, the software giant has been testing this capability for at least a month, with most of the testing taking place in Seattle. According to sources familiar with Microsoft’s intentions, the firm is planning to elaborate on this during its Build developer conference next week.
