When a site gets listed on the search result page, it shows the name of the site the ranked page is coming from, this is known as site name.

Moreover, Google Search utilises several sources from a site’s homepage to automatically define site names which includes:

- Content in <title> elements
- Heading elements, such as <h1> elements
