Hotel Room Story Format, Flight Price Guarantees & New Discover Tools Now in Google Search

Google announced three latest features for Google travel that includes a new story format for hotel bookings, price guarantees for some flights and new discover tools for locations.

Let’s have a look at each of these:

Hotel Stories

This is what the swipeable story format looks like when looking at hotel properties or places to stay at a destination:

As per Barry, Google utilizes the same information used by the existing hotel listings to develop these stories automatically, so the hotel doesn’t need to do anything extra to get this.

Flight Price Guarantees

 Google said, “new pilot program for price guarantees in the U.S.” is now available. They further added, “If you see a flight with the price guarantee badge, it means we’re confident that the price you see today won’t get any lower before takeoff.”

New Discover Options

On exploring an attraction or tour company in Google Search or Google Maps, you will see prices instantly on these listings along with a link to book your ticket. 

You will also find suggestions for related experiences, that could be a city-wide tour with multiple stops.
