Dynamic Rendering Is Not A Long-Term Solution - Google

By Trapti

Recently, Google updated its help documentation pertaining to dynamic rendering.

It stated, "dynamic rendering is a workaround and not a long-term solution for problems with JavaScript-generated content in search engines. "Instead, we recommend that you use server-side rendering, static rendering, or hydration as a solution,"

Dynamic rendering was announced in 2018 as a method of assisting Google in crawling and indexing JavaScript content.

Google clearly communicated this was a workaround, but website owners started using this as a sole method of getting their content indexed.

This time, Google is very strict and has made huge changes in the doc to insist it.

Here is what the red disclaimer read: "Dynamic rendering is a workaround and not a long-term solution for problems with JavaScript-generated content in search engines. Instead, we recommend that you use server-side rendering, static rendering, or hydration as a solution."

This is where changes are made in the doc

Key Takeaway: Dynamic rendering is only a workaround and not an ultimate solution Instead server-side rendering, static rendering, or client-side rendering with hydration are recommended methods by Google
